Milestones

The following residents from Henrico County were inducted into the Order of the Gown at the University of the South in Sewanee, Tenn.: Gregory Benjamin Vaeth Jr., Lily Kane Constine, Margaret Ingram Legro, Thomas Harrington Lynde and Elias Samuel Evens. The Order of the Gown is an academic honor society and a unique student government body among U.S. colleges and universities.

Stephen Baker, of Glen Allen, recently was named to Bob Jones University’s 2017 Concert Choir. The Concert Choir is one of BJU's upper-level choirs comprised of mostly junior and senior students. Auditions are held for new members every August and January before the start of each semester. Baker is a sophomore majoring in Sports Management.

Loyola University in Baltimore, Md. recently welcomed students to the Class of 2021 including Henrico County residents Sabrina Daglish and Emilio Layton.

Sneha Budda Reddy, of Glen Allen, has been awarded a privately funded scholarship from the Shepherd University Foundation.
