Metro Richmond Crime Stoppers' Crime of the Week: Nov. 6, 2017

A Napoleon Taxi Service driver was robbed by his passenger, and Crime Stoppers wants to help the Richmond Police Department identify the suspect.

Around 4 o’clock in the morning of Sept. 21, the cab driver picked up a passenger in the 1900 block of Accommodation Street and drove her to the Stop & Go store on Mechanicsville Turnpike. When the driver told the suspect the amount of the fare, she pushed something into the victim’s side and demanded the victim’s money and cell phone.

Once the suspect got the victim’s money she took off on foot. The suspect is described as a black female, about 5’6” tall and weighing 200 lbs. She was wearing a brown hoodie and brown pants with Aztec written on them. She also had a distinctive tattoo on her left hand.
