Melton named 2024 Henrico Christmas Mother

The Henrico Christmas Mother organization has named Linda R. Melton to serve as the 2024 Henrico Christmas Mother.
Melton is the daughter of former Henrico Christmas Mother Charlotte Melton, who served in the role in 2000. Linda Melton has spent more than 40 years in the banking industry and currently serves as the community outreach officer and vice president at Fulton Bank in Richmond. She is a past member of the Henrico Economic Development board and a member of the Housing Opportunities Made Equal board. She holds master of education and bachelor of science degrees from Virginia State University.
The Henrico Christmas Mother organization is an all-volunteer 501(c)(3) organization that provides food, clothing, books, toys and other gift items to qualifying families in need during the winter holidays.
