McEachin to host veterans resource fair Nov. 17

U.S. Congressman A. Donald McEachin (VA-4th District) will host a Veterans’ Resource Fair Friday, Nov. 17, at J. Sargeant Reynolds Community College’s downtown campus from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m.
“As the son of an Army veteran, I continuously work to ensure that we are serving our veterans and their families as honorably as they served our country,” said McEachin. “By hosting a resource fair, I hope to make it easier for veterans who sometimes struggle to access the resources and organizations available to support their needs.”
The event is free and open to the public to provide veterans and their families an opportunity to learn about services, organizations and agencies that provide resources at the local, state and federal levels. Attendees will have information about healthcare, benefits, higher education, workforce training, and employment.
The Reynolds campus is located at 700 East Jackson Street, Richmond.
