U.S. Congressman A. Donald McEachin has announced the launch of his annual VA-04 Photography Contest for 2021.

The contest challenges constituents to submit photographs of Virginia’s Fourth Congressional District. The competition is open to all residents of the district, regardless of age, and the winner’s photograph will be displayed in Rep. McEachin’s congressional offices and on his social media platforms.

Photos must be submitted by the original photographer, who must be a constituent of Virginia’s Fourth Congressional District.  By submitting a photo, the photographer waives rights to the photo and authorizes its display online and in congressman's offices.  Any photo that includes a minor must be submitted by a parent or guardian who agrees to the conditions. Submitting a photo does not guarantee its publication. The deadline to submit photos is Sept. 30.

“Our district, which spans from the Chesapeake Bay to the North Carolina border to the urban centers of Richmond and Petersburg, has so many unique vistas and landscapes," said Rep. McEachin. "If you are a photographer, I encourage you to step outside and capture the beauty of Virginia’s Fourth. I look forward to your submissions.”
