Maryland company spends $9.5M on West Broad Street shopping center

A Maryland company has purchased a West Broad Street shopping center in the heart of Henrico's West End for $9.55 million.
Airport Hotel, LLC of Ellicott City, Maryland purchased the Broad Street Plaza Shopping Center at 9856-9864 West Broad Street from Sledd Properties Sept. 12. The purchase price amounted to $165 per square foot of space.
Cushman & Wakefield | Thalhimer’s Capital Markets Group represented the seller. The shopping center is completely leased and contains nearly 58,000 square feet of space, divided among four tenants, including anchors Michaels and Kid's Empire, which recently signed a new 10-year lease agreement.
The transaction was completed by Catharine Spangler of Cushman & Wakefield | Thalhimer’s Capital Markets Group along with Connie Jordan Neilsen and Nicki Jassy of Thalhimer’s Retail Leasing Team.
