Little Hands' of Virginia's 'Bundles of Joy' holiday drive collecting essentials for babies

Table of Contents

Little Hands of Virginia is holding its annual holiday drive, Bundles of Joy, for items needed most by the families it serves.

This holiday season, donors are asked to assemble a bundle of essentials for babies or to donate $40 for a bundle.  Each bundle should include a pack of diapers, a pack of wipes, baby soap, baby lotion, diaper cream, socks, a pack of three to five onesies, and two pajamas (footies or 2-piece). Bundles can be for a boy, girl, or gender neutral in any size newborn to 24 months.

Items from drives can be dropped off at the Little Hands Virginia office, located at Second Baptist Church at 9614 River Road, from Dec. 14-18, from 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.  Little Hands can also pick up items, and can provide a custom flyer and/or social media graphic for drives. To schedule a pickup or for details, email taylor@littlehandsva.org.

Since Little Hands launched in August 2019, the organization has filled more than 500 direct requests for assistance, including 403 requests for diapers, 183 requests for soap, 192 requests for onesies and 196 requests for socks.
