A pole holding a communications line snapped in Lakeside Tuesday morning after being struck by a vehicle, dropping the line across Hilliard Road near its intersection with Lakeside Avenue and forcing the road to be closed for several hours. At 1 p.m., crews were still on scene and the line remained down.
Admission is $5 for adults and children 14 and older and free for children 13 and younger. Admission includes a raffle ticket, admission to the haunted house, dog costume contest, live music, and more.
