Letters: Reader praises CVWMA initiative

Dear Editor:
I was delighted to read in the Henrico Citizen that CVWMA is joining with the U.S. Plastics Pact.
CVWMA does important work. It's hopeful to see our neighborhood putting recycling bins out like clockwork every other week.
On the other hand, it's troubling to see discarded plastic items in Deep Run Creek just a few steps from our house. These are on their way, in smaller and smaller bits, to the Chesapeake Bay and our oceans.
The U.S. Plastic Pact sounds like a great thing and a proactive step on the part of CVWMA.
