‘Leading Our Ladies’ application process opens

Leading Our Ladies, a six-month initiative for 16-20 year-old teens and young women in the Richmond region, is accepting applications.
Only 15 candidates will be selected for the program, which is designed to improve the confidence and self-esteem of participants while also facilitating new friendships among young women who share a desire for self-improvement and self-sufficiency.
Selected participants must commit to four hours of participation, one Saturday a month.
There is no fee to participate. An online application must be completed by Aug. 15 at www.cverp13.com/leading-our-ladies-lol-1.
During a closing ceremony in February, a certificate of completion and $200 towards personal development will be awarded to graduates of the program.
