Lead Virginia announces 2024 class of leaders

Lead Virginia, a nonpartisan and nonprofit statewide leadership program, recently announced its newly selected 2024 class members.

The 46 participants are senior-level executives in business, education, non-profit, and government organizations throughout Virginia who are seeking to bolster a shared vision of active civic involvement and stewardship across the commonwealth. Lead Virginia’s 2024 curriculum will focus on the key themes of economy, education, and health and will cultivate a statewide perspective by examining themes of economic development, demographics, technology, transportation, growth management, and quality of life within each region.

Among the local leaders who will participate as part of the 2024 class are Gizelle Curtis, senior economic development market specialist, Dominion Energy; Will Dickerson, energy advisor, Sun Run; Christopher Finley, AVP community engagement, HCA Healthcare; Danielle Gilbert, HR director, ChildSavers; Michael Henley, VP Central Virginia, Hourigan Group; Suzanne Holland, senior regional outreach specialist, Federal Reserve Bank of Richmond; Mathew Marry, CEO, Virginia Hospital & Healthcare Association Solutions; Dave Mason, VP, The Whiting-Turner Contracting Company;  Aaron Mathes, senior vice president, CGI; Grant Neely, managing partner, S.I.R.; Angela Oakes, VP of strategy, Greater Richmond Partnership; John Richardson-Lauve, senior director of community outreach and trauma-informed care, St. Joseph’s Villa; and Dan Roberts, VP of research and strategy, Virginia Tourism Corporation.
