Lakeside Optimists host holiday party

For the 22nd year, the Lakeside Optimist Club held its annual Christmas party for local elementary school children, featuring crafts, lunch, and visits with Santa. Volunteers from the Hanover Optimist Club also helped with the party, which was held Dec. 10 at the Lakeside American Legion Club. The children signed a thank-you poster for Giovanni's Pizza, whose owner donates the pizza every year, and went home with bags full of gifts.
