Kroger's peanut butter drive continues through Sept. 17

Table of Contents

The six-year-old drive began in August and continues through Sept. 17. Customers can donate peanut butter of any brand to the food banks located at the front of their store.

All donations made during the month of September will go directly to the local food bank partners, helping them to replenish their shelves with an essential item.

"Kroger customers really shine when it comes to giving back," said James Menees Corporate Affairs Manager at Kroger Mid-Atlantic. "The sight of overflowing bins is a testament to a community’s commitment to supporting neighbors in need."

Customers also may donate by rounding up at the register or, using self-checkout registers, by scanning a coupon above the card reader to activate the donation option.
