Kaine, Hashmi to host virtual COVID-19 town hall Feb. 25

U.S. Senator Tim Kaine will join State Senator Ghazala Hashmi (D-VA-10) for a virtual town hall Feb. 25 from 7 p.m. to 8 p.m. to hear directly from Virginians about the impact of COVID-19 on Central Virginia.
The event will focus on vaccine distribution, economic recovery, small business assistance, and support for public education. It will conclude with a live Q&A segment with constituents. Kaine will gather feedback from Virginians as he works in Congress on another COVID-19 relief bill in the coming weeks.
In December, Kaine pushed to pass COVID relief legislation that provided $8.75 billion for vaccine distribution for states and localities, and he is currently pushing for passage of another comprehensive relief package.
