Jones, Windom honored by Rotary Club for 'Service Above Self'

The fifth annual Western Henrico Rotary Club Service Above Self Awards ceremony was held April 12 at the Westwood Club, honoring Henrico firefighter Josh Windom and Henrico police officer Craig Jones.
The WHRC made donations in Windom's name to Tara’s Children and in Jones' name to Mothers Against Drunk/Drugged Driving. Among the firefighters, police officers, club and community members who gathered for the occasion were, from left: Lt. Col. Mike Palkovics (HPD), Carter Hill (MADD), Craig Jones (HPD/recipient), Josh Windom (HFD/recipient), Clay Meredith (HFD/Tara’s Children), Bernie Curlee (WHRC president), Dr. Poovillam Subramaniam (WHRC Service Above Self committee chair), and Tom Labelle (HFD deputy fire chief).
