J.R. Tucker poked just enough holes in Mills Godwin’s defense to garner a taut 22-21 victory on October 29 in Virginia football action.

Both teams were shutout in the third quarter.

A halftime tie at 14-14 allowed for a respite as both teams looked to regroup in the locker room.

The Eagles authored a promising start, taking advantage of the Tigers 7-0 at the end of the first quarter.
