It's getting hot in here

The Eighth Annual Madison + Main Chili Cook-Off, held Nov. 8 at Atlas 42 in Innsbrook, crowned winners The Alliance Group (first place), Comcast Spotlight and James River Equipment (tied for second) and Worth Higgins (3rd place) the top chili makers, with Peter Larsen of Cobb Technologies winning the People’s Choice Award.  Earlier, celebrity judges [from left]  WTVR Sports Director Lane Casadonte, ESPN Richmond host Greg Burton, Richmond Raceway President Dennis Bickmeier and Richmond Times-Dispatch Managing Editor Mike Szvetitz devoted themselves to the task of sampling and scoring an even dozen chili entries.
