Innsbrook Rotary donates oral vacuum machines to Daily Planet

The Rotary Club of Innsbrook presented four oral vacuum machines to the Daily Planet. The machines, which “vacuum” breaths and vapors from a dental patient, allowing a dentist or hygienist to work on the patient more safely. They’re considered particularly important in light of the pandemic.
Rotary District 7600, which includes Central Virginia had challenged the club to assist a local charity with a pressing COVID-19 need.
The Daily Planet serves indigent and homeless residents in Metro Richmond, providing a variety of services including medical and dental care.
The club donated $4,500 for the purchase of four machines, which have been delivered and are already in use.
