Innsbrook After Hours is coming back, with a twist.
After a long hiatus, the popular live music series is set to return to the Innsbrook Pavilion in Glen Allen beginning in June, thanks to a partnership between EventMakers-USA and Highwoods Properties. The series will be sponsored by SERVPRO, which also will continue to sponsor the After Hours series in Doswell.
The concerts will take place on Thursday evenings from June 5 through Sept. 25, featuring tribute bands recreating the music of iconic artists. The initial lineup for the "Tribute Thursdays" series will be released soon, according to organizers.
The Innsbrook After Hours series, a staple of the community for more than two decades, left Glen Allen in 2021 for the Meadow Event Park site in Doswell, where shows have been held regularly since.
“The return of these events will not only create an energetic atmosphere but also foster a deeper sense of community and connection within Innsbrook," said Jane duFrane, senior vice president and Richmond Market Leader for Highwoods.
The new series aims to recreate the atmosphere of the former Innsbrook Pavilion concerts, offering an affordable, family-friendly event with live music, food trucks, lawn games, and free parking, organizers said. Spanning four acres on Cox Road off Interstate 295, the space offers room for food trucks, concessions, and lawn games.
“Our goal is to make this super easy and stress free for people. We’ll be family friendly and welcome kids under 10 for free with a paid adult ticket," said Matthew Creeger, managing partner for EventMakers-USA.
SERVPRO After Hours Concerts will be held at 4901 Lake Brook Drive, near Interstate 295. For details, visit www.afterhoursinnsbrook.com.
