I-295 construction to force lane closure on Varina-Enon Bridge for 5 months

Drivers who use Interstate 295 in the Varina area should expect lane closures and potential traffic delays beginning Tuesday, Dec. 3, according to the Virginia Department of Transportation.
The left travel lane on the Varina-Enon Bridge northbound will close for approximately five months for bridge maintenance, VDOT officials said. The current lane closure on I-295 southbound on the Varina Enon Bridge is scheduled to reopen by Dec. 3.
