Hungary Road, Mill Road railroad crossings to be closed briefly

The railroad crossing on Hungary Road will be closed through Friday, May 24 for improvements by CSX, according to county and CSX officials. Similar work is expected to close the Mill Road crossing Tuesday, May 28 through Friday, May 31.
CSX closed the Hungary crossing, which is between Hungary Spring and Woodman roads, Tuesday. A detour is redirecting traffic via Woodman, East Parham Road and Interstate 295.
Mill’s crossing is between Mountain and Greenwood roads. Traffic will be detoured via Mountain and Old Washington Highway.
The repairs had been scheduled for last week, but the work was delayed by the railroad.
