Hopewell earns narrow win over Thomas Dale 61-59

A sigh of relief filled the air in Hopewell’s locker room after Friday’s 61-59 win against Thomas Dale in a Virginia boys basketball matchup on December 17.

Thomas Dale turned up the heat in the fourth quarter, but Hopewell put the game on ice.

Hopewell’s offense jumped to a 26-20 lead over Thomas Dale at the intermission.
