A new Hilton-brand hotel is planned on a 3.45-acre site at 9950 Independence Park Drive in Henrico, just off Gaskins Road near I-64.
Gaskins Hotel Partners, LLC recently purchased the land from Commonwealth Foundation for Cancer Research for $850,000. Hilton operates 15 different hotel chains, including DoubleTree by Hilton, Embassy Suites by Hilton, Hampton by Hilton, Hilton, Hilton Garden inn, Home2 Suites by Hilton, Homewood Suites by Hilton, Tapestry Collection by HIlton and Tru by Hilton, among others.
David Butchello of Cushman & Wakefield | Thalhimer's Newport News office handled the sale negotiations on behalf of the purchaser, and David M. Smith, with Thalhimer in Richmond, represented the seller.
