Henrico Police arrested a 16-year-old Highland Springs High School student Friday after finding a loaded gun in the student's backpack. The weapon had not been brandished or used in a threatening manner.
Police responded to the school after receiving a tip about the gun. The student was charged with possession of a firearm on school property.
