Highland Springs HS recognizes 1959-60 championship basketball team

Members of the 1959-60 Highland Springs High School boys’ state championship basketball team were honored during halftime of the school’s Jan. 6 boys’ game against Matoaca High School.
The event recognized the 64th anniversary of the team’s title and its perfect 24-0 record that season – the only undefeated season in the program’s storied history.
