Highland Springs football's Gilliam trims college list to 10 programs

A Highland Springs High School football recruit who is one of the top recruits in Virginia has trimmed his list of potential colleges to 10 of the top Division I programs in the nation.

Springers’ 6-foot-3, 250-pound defensive end Kelvin Gilliam will choose between Virginia Tech, Oklahoma, Penn State, Florida, LSU, Minnesota, Kentucky, South Carolina, Texas and California.

Gilliam is considered by some scouting services as a top-100 prospect in the nation and the No. 4 recruit in Virginia.
