Midlothian cut in front fast, but Hermitage bounced aside that challenge and collected a 24-14 victory in Virginia high school football on November 19.
The Herm Panthers’ train of momentum chugged along the fourth-quarter tracks with a 10-0 points differential.
Neither defense permitted points in the third quarter, leaving the score 14-14 at first quarter.
An intermission tie at 14-14 allowed for a respite as both teams looked to regroup in the locker room.
Midlothian authored a promising start, taking advantage of Hermitage 7-0 at the end of the first quarter.
