Each day during the school year, more than 4,000 teachers provide instruction, mentorship, guidance, leadership, motivation, friendship and direction for more than 55,000 students in Henrico County’s public and private schools. They do so not for public attention but in most cases because they feel called to make a difference in the lives of their students.
In this eighth-annual edition of the Henrico Citizen’s “Henrico’s Top Teachers,” we are proud to profile 20 of Henrico’s most outstanding educators – men and women whose efforts and stories stand out even among many other impressive ones. Congratulations to this year’s class – and to the countless other worthy candidates who are changing young lives daily in Henrico County.
