Henrico's November 'Lunch and Learn' series to support caregivers

Caregivers living in Henrico County can learn about resources in the area and how to manage their caregiving roles, thanks to a series of Caregiver "Lunch and Learns" during November.
The webinars will take place Thursdays in November from noon until 1 p.m. via DialPad, and will cover such topics as how to avoid caregiver burnout, how to care-plan with a loved one, and navigating Medicare and Social Security.
The Nov. 4 Lunch and Learn topic will be "Caregiving 101," presented by Emily Atkinson, Henrico County Advocate for the Aging, and Ayn Welleford of Virginia Commonwealth University.
On Nov. 11, the webinar topic will be "Prepare to Care," presented by David Hunt & Michelle McQueen of AARP.
The Nov. 18 Lunch and Learn topic will be "Navigating Medicare," presented by Jacqueline Weisgarber of Social Security Administration.
