Henrico's daily average of new COVID cases nears 41, even as positivity percentage drops

The Virginia Department of Health has reported 93 new confirmed cases of COVID-19 in Henrico County during the past two days – 45 Tuesday and 48 Wednesday. The county’s 7-day average of new daily cases is up to nearly 41, but the positivity percentage (which lags several days behind) has dropped to 4.8% as of Oct. 24.
Henrico now has witnessed 6,342 known cases of the virus. One new hospitalization attributed to the virus also was reported Wednesday.
A total of 125,891 PCR tests now have been conducted on Henrico residents.
