Henrico has reported 43 new cases of COVID-19 since yesterday, increasing the county's total to 4,651, according to the Virginia Department of Health. One new death in the county and two new hospitalizations also were attributed to the virus by the VDH today.
Henrico's 7-day positivity percentage has dropped slightly, down to 8.9% as of Aug. 29. Nearly 78,700 PCR tests have been conducted among Henrico residents to date, according to the agency, for an overall positivity rate of 5.9%.
