Sixty-eight new confirmed cases of COVID-19 in Henrico have been reported since Saturday, according to the Virginia Department of Health. The county’s 7-day positivity percentage declined to 6.6% as of Sept. 3 – more than a point lower than the state average of 7.7%.
The county’s percentage has trended downward since reaching 9.5% Aug. 25 – the highest it had been since early June.
Four Henricoans were hospitalized during the weekend because of the virus, bringing the total number hospitalized since the pandemic began to 390.
