Henrico's COVID-19 moving positivity percentage hits record low, but 4 new deaths announced

Henrico's 7-day positivity percentage continues to trend down, reaching a new record low of 4.8% July 3, even as four additional deaths were attributed to the virus, increasing Henrico’s total death count to 163.
Only 23 new cases were reported by the Virginia Department of Health among Henrico residents today; the agency also reported 152 new testing encounters and one new hospitalization, increasing the county’s total to 265 during the pandemic.
To date, a total of 37,117 tests have been conducted of county residents and 2,708 have been positive – a positivity percentage of 7.2.
