This morning’s numbers from the Virginia Department of Health show that 1,083 Henrico residents have tested positive for COVID-19 – that’s up by just about 50 from Friday. The county has reported a total of 110 deaths related to the virus – 87 of them among people 70 or older.
There are 15 known outbreaks in the county – 13 of them in long-term care facilities, accounting for about 43 percent of Henrico’s total number of cases. Among those infected: 116 healthcare workers in the county, or about 11 percent of the total number of cases in Henrico.
