Henrico's 7-day COVID-19 positivity percentage continues to increase, reaching 9% as of Aug. 28. During the past week, it increased to 9.6% – the county's highest figure since the first week of June – decreased to 8.9% and increased again to where it now stands.
By contrast, the state average is 7.4%, Richmond’s average is 5% and Chesterfield’s is 7%.
A total of 98 new COVID-19 cases have been reported in Henrico during the past three days, bringing the county’s overall total to 4,608. Three COVID-related hospitalizations also were reported. No new deaths were reported.
