Henrico County's COVID-19 7-day positivity percentage decreased to 6% as of July 31, the most recent day on record, according to the Virginia Department of Health. The last time Henrico had a positivity percentage of less than 6% was more than two weeks ago, on July 19.
The VDH reported 36 new confirmed cases of the virus in Henrico Tuesday, increasing its total number to nearly 3,700 among nearly 60,000 testing encounters.
The agency also reported four new hospitalizations attributed to the virus in Henrico Tuesday but no new deaths.
