Henricopolis SWCD honors students
Table of Contents
Formerly known as The Assemblage, the Appreciation Celebration was held at Eastern Henrico Recreation Center after a two-year pandemic hiatus.
The theme for the poster contest was "Healthy Soil Healthy Life." Poster winners included Kangana Karthikeyan of Twin Hickory Elementary for Grades K-1, and Samaira Villadian of Rivers Edge Elementary for Grades 2-3.
For the Grades 4-6 level, Vicky Yang of Pemberton Elementary created the winning poster, and for Grades 7-9, the winner was Nora O'Donnell of Tuckahoe Middle School.
Lilith Fick of Varina High School won for the Grades 10-12 level. Among other high school students recognized were Anjali Mukundan of Deep Run H.S. and Nikhita Saravanan of the Maggie Walker Governor's School for their efforts with the Youth Conservation Leadership Institute.
