Henrico Too Smart 2 Start to present 'It Takes a Village' community conversation

The Henrico Too Smart 2 Start Coalition will present its Sixth Annual It Takes a Village Community Conversation Thursday, Oct. 3 at 5:30 p.m. at the Eastern Henrico Recreation Center, 1440 North Laburnum Avenue.
The event will address the results of a countywide study about Henrico youngsters' behavior and attitudes toward substance use. The study was conducted in 2018 through a partnership with Henrico County Public Schools and Henrico Area Mental Health and Developmental Services – Prevention.
The event will involve Henrico youngsters, parents, teachers, prevention and recovery specialists, local government agencies and local government officials. It also will feature a keynote speaker, a resource fair and heavy hors d'oeuvres.
