Table of Contents

Henrico County officials will host a virtual community meeting on the county’s 2022 bond referendum Oct. 24, beginning at 6 p.m.

The meeting is designed to provide an overview of the referendum and how it proposes to fund improvements to schools, parks, fire stations and other county facilities. Attendees will have opportunities to ask questions.

Members of the public are invited to participate through WebEx or by phone by dialing 1-415-655-0002 and entering the access code 2318 539 7165.

As part of the Nov. 8 general election, Henrico voters will have an opportunity to cast their ballots on any or all of four bond referendum categories – schools; recreation and parks; fire stations and public safety facilities; and flood prevention and stormwater drainage – which in total propose nearly $511.4 million in funding for capital projects.

No increase in county tax rates would be connected with the approval of the bond issuance.
