Henrico to host solar eclipse events at Meadow Farm, Dorey Park

Henrico Recreation and Parks officials will host solar eclipse community viewing parties at two parks Monday, April 8 to help residents celebrate and safely view the solar eclipse.
The Solar Eclipse of the Parks events will be held from 1:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. at Dorey Park in Varina and Meadow Farm Museum at Crump Park in Glen Allen. The events will offer crafts, food trucks, guest speakers and complimentary eclipse glasses, while supplies last, to ensure safe viewing.
In exchange for the glasses, guests are encouraged to bring a nonperishable food item to support the food pantry at the Oak Avenue Complex.
