Henrico to conduct emergency-response exercise May 1 at Short Pump Town Center

Henrico County public safety agencies will conduct an emergency-response exercise Sunday, May 1 at Short Pump Town Center to assess their preparedness for an actual emergency.
The full-scale drill is scheduled to occur from 8 to 10 a.m. – before the mall’s regular opening to the public at 11 a.m.
Before and during the exercise, the public may notice police, fire and other emergency personnel as well as vehicles and equipment in and around the mall, located at 11800 West Broad Street.
The exercise is being conducted in coordination with Short Pump Town Center and will include the county’s Police Division, Division of Fire and Department of Emergency Management & Workplace Safety.
