Henrico to celebrate Martin Luther King on Jan. 16

The Henrico County Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Commemoration Association will hold its 37th annual commemoration of the life and legacy of Martin Luther King, Jr. Jan. 16 at 11:30 a.m. at Henrico H.S., 302 Azalea Avenue.
"The Legacy Continues" will feature Capt. Janice G. Smith, chief of staff of Military Sealift Command as keynote speaker. Desiree Roots will be the guest solo artist, and Rev. Sheilah Belle will serve as mistress of ceremonies.
