Henrico’s COVID-19 case count is up to 1,272, according to Virginia Department of Health data released this morning. The virus death count remained steady at 113, and 171 county residents are hospitalized with the virus.
Overall, slightly more than 7,500 people in the county have been tested – fifth-most among state localities.
Since Friday morning, about 11 percent of the 675 test results conducted among county residents have come back positive. The county’s 7-day moving average of positive test results has hovered between about 10 and 15 percent each day since April 28.
During the past week, an average of slightly more than 200 people have been tested each day in Henrico.
