Henrico County reported 110 new cases of COVID-19 Friday, according to the Virginia Department of Health. The county’s seven-day moving average of new daily cases reached 128 and has continued to drop since its spike in mid-January.

There were four new hospitalizations related to the virus in the county, falling from a spike yesterday of seven, according to VDH data. There also was one new virus-related death in the county.

As of Feb. 7, Henrico reported a 9.1 percent positivity rate among PCR testing encounters, a count that's been declining steadily, according to the VDH. After just recently surpassing 60,000 encounters since the pandemic began, the county reported an 8 percent positivity rate among rapid antigen tests. This data lags behind a few days to include as many testing encounters as possible.

More than 1.2 million doses of the COVID-19 vaccine have been administered in the state of Virginia, with more than 50,000 going to Henricoans, according to VDH data. Of those, more than 10,000 are now fully vaccinated, having received two doses.

Overall, about 15% of Henrico residents have received at least one dose of the vaccine.

Statewide, more than 11 percent of Virginians have received at least one dose, according to VDH data. As doses continue to roll out, the average amount administered each day continues to hover around 33,500.

Henrico County has surpassed 160 reported outbreaks according to the VDH. Almost 3,300 cases in the county have been connected to these incidents, where two or more cases were found to be related.
