The Henrico County Board of Supervisors will hold a work session and public meeting Dec. 3. At the work session, beginning at 3:45 p.m., board members will receive an update about the Central Virginia Transportation Authority and discuss a Virginia DMV grant, prior to holding a closed discussion about the expansion of county water and sewer infrastructure.

During the 6 p.m. public meeting, the board is scheduled to make final decisions on several rezoning cases, including:

• a proposed townhome development on Church Road in the Three Chopt District;

• a truck rental and maintenance facility on Mechanicsville Turnpike (U.S. 360) in the Fairfield District;

• and a proposed Sheetz that would operate 24 hours a day next to the Pine Grove subdivision.

The board also will hear proposals to condemn property needed for the Liesfeld Farm Drive extension project and will award $25.7 million in contracts.

Members of the public who wish to attend in person or via livestream can find more information on the Henrico County website.
