The Henrico County Board of Supervisors will hold its next meetings Tuesday, April 9. The first of two sessions will take place at 4 p.m. in the County Manager’s Conference Room at the Henrico County Government Center. It will cover a solar lease agreement for the closed Nine Mile Road landfill and prioritization of county drainage projects.
The second session will be at 6 p.m. in the Board of Supervisors Room, during which the board is expected to formally adopt a budget for Fiscal Year 2024-25. The meeting also will include 10 rezoning cases, but one controversial case scheduled to be heard has been withdrawn by the applicant: a plan that would have allowed the construction of a storage facility and drive-through restaurant at the intersection of Mountain and Woodman roads in Glen Allen.
Other topics on the board's agenda: the establishment of 2024 real estate and personal property tax rates and a proposed increase in water and sewer rates.
Members of the public who wish to attend in person or via livestream can find more information on the Henrico County website.
