The Henrico County Board of Supervisors will hold its next meeting Tuesday, May 14. The first of two sessions (a work session) will take place at 4 p.m. in the County Manager’s Conference Room at the Henrico County Government Center. It will include a briefing on the plan for 2024 high school graduation ceremonies, a discussion of an Agricultural and Forestry Industries Development Fund grant, and a closed session on legal advice regarding tax exempt bonds.

The second session will begin at 6 p.m. in the Board of Supervisors Room, and the board is scheduled to make a final decision on several rezoning cases, including a controversial plan that would permit a 622-acre data center and light-industrial development in Sandston near the White Oak Technology Park. Another proposal would permit the expansion of the Gateway II apartment complex on Parham Road.

The board also will decide whether to award several construction contacts totaling approximately $12 million.

Members of the public who wish to attend in person or via livestream can find more information on the Henrico County website.
