Table of Contents

This summer, Liam Davis-Vojta of Henrico will join outstanding high school students from across the nation to take part in a unique academic and career-oriented development experience at the Aerospace and Aviation Academy on the campus of Rice University in Houston, Texas. As part of the program, Davis-Vojta will study rocket design, visit Space Center Houston, and launch a satellite.

The academy is among the Envision by WorldStrides' family of programs that are designed to enable students to explore their interests and experience learning beyond the classroom.

Davis-Vojta is a junior in the Advance College Academy at J.R. Tucker High School. He is a member of the National Honors Society, Mu Alpha Theta (math honor society), and the National Society of High School Scholars.

Outside of school, he has participated in the Henrico Interscholastic Mountain Bike Team and is an acolyte at the Episcopal Church of the Holy Comforter. He hopes to attend college and study engineering after graduation.

As the largest provider of educational travel and experiences in the United States, WorldStrides works with more than 50,000 educators each year to help more than 550,000 students see the world.
