Henrico Sports and Events Center offering free A-10 women's basketball tournament tickets as part of canned food drive

The Henrico Sports and Events Center will host a canned food drive to help the Central Virginia hunger relief organization Feed More from Feb. 10 through March 1, and participants will receive two general admission tickets to the first or second round of the Atlantic 10 Conference Women’s Basketball Championship in March.
Anyone who donates five canned food items will receive two tickets to the event for games taking place March 6 or 7. Feed More is a Central Virginia nonprofit that works to end hunger by ensuring that everyone has access to healthy food.
“Today, one in nine neighbors across the 34 cities and counties we serve struggle with hunger," said Christy Dalton, community engagement manager at Feed More. "These generous donations will help us meet the growing need for food assistance in our region and will help ensure that our most vulnerable neighbors receive the nourishing meals they need to thrive.”
The Atlantic 10 Women’s Basketball Championship will take place from March 6 to March 10 at the Henrico Sports and Events Center. Tickets for the tournament are available for purchase through the conference's website.
