The free event will be held at the Deep Run Recreation Center, 9900 Ridgefield Parkway, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., and will showcase more than 50 local providers specializing in services for those 60 and older.

“We’re grateful for the opportunity to host this important event for the senior community,” said Ashlee Giles, Henrico’s Advocate for the Aging. “Everyone is welcome, and all who attend will have access to a variety of providers and resources.”

Attendees will be able to learn about different aging programs and services available in Henrico County, and network with other professionals and community members who are caring for, and older, residents.

“Think of the Senior & Caregiver Resource Expo as a ‘one-stop shop,’” Giles said. “By bringing numerous resources together under one roof, our hope is that everyone who’d like to learn about aging in place safely will find everything they’re looking for and more.”
